69-YEAR-OLD , Michael Moore is hospitalized in a private clinic in David, after being shot by one  of three men who  entered his home in broad daylight on Thursday, January 7.

Moore,  said an acquaintance, had recently moved  to Cerro Verde, El Salto, Chiriqui, to avoid late night noise in Boquete.   He had a wound on the left side and a fractured left ankle.

Firefighters took him  by ambulance to the hospital.

The victim said he was surprised by three men of dark complexion. one with a firearm.

They robbed him of $2,000 in cash that was in a safe and notebook computers, several items, valued at $5,000  reports  El Siglo
