An  American was shot and killed by an intruder in front of his wife,  at his home in Gonzalillo in Alcalde Diaz, on Thursday, June 2.

David Graves, 51, was with his wife and  two employees at 12.30 a.m  when  a man broke  in through a fence at  the rear of the house, crossed the courtyard, and entered through the kitchen door.

He pointed a gun at the couple and workers and Graves rushed the man and started a struggle. The killer fired two shots into the chest and abdomen and fled the house.
Graves wife called 911 and he was rushed to emergency at Santo Tomas hospital where he died at 3.00 a.m.
