Passengers panicked by the activation of a fire extinguisher on a Mi Bus on Sunday, June 24, smashed windows as they attempted to escape what they thought was a fire.

In a statement issued later in the day,  the Mi Bus company said that the driver had already started the evacuation procedure and exhorted passengers to follow safety instructions to avoid injuries.

The statement stressed that all drivers have been trained to safeguard the lives of passengers and the company is investigating the incident.
