If you are a user of 95 octane gasoline  from Saturday May 7 you will be paying 2 cents short of $5 for each gallon you put in the tank.

The cost has risen $1.09 a gallon since January 1 to $4.58.
The price of 91 octane, in the same  period, rose 67 cents to $3.99, when the price, along with low sulphur diesel was frozen by the government.
Low-sulfur diesel has climbed 65 cents since January to the $3.80  freeze  mark.
