67th case of hanta virus detected
A NEW CASE of hanta virus was confirmed in Tonosi Los Santos, on Monday, November 23, says Nahir Cedeño, the regional director of the Ministry of Health
 Cedeño said that the victim is a 22-year-old woman from ¬She added that that the patient has shown improvement.
The regional director said there have been 67 cases so far this year, 80 percent of which have been in Tonosí.
The ministry has tried to eliminate breeding sites for rodents, which spread the virus, in the area.
