Parts of Panama City, in higher areas, were hit with a water outage on Saturday, June 17 following mechanical problems in one of the pumps of the Chilibre water treatment plant.
Officials with the water and sewer agency Idaan are working to resolve the problem.
The water outage is impacting areas of the city at higher elevations.
The work will take an estimated 48 hours.
