At least 20 people were injured in an accident involving a bus carrying 55 passengers on Tuesday, February 9 in the district of Gualaca, Chiriqui.

It was the second bus accident in the province in three days. The other involved two buses and injured  over 40..

The week before two buses collided in Colon province, injuring  64 passengers, including two with loss of limbs.

According to the police report, the bus driver in the latest incident  lost control of the vehicle on a curve and crashed into a residence.
