2 girls drowned in flooding river

TWO GIRLS  aged 10 and 12,  were swept away  by rising waters in Cocle on Sunday September 4.

Thei bodies were recovered by the Civil Defense Agency Sinaproc  in the La Angostura canyon along the Zaratí River.

José Donderis,  Sinaproc director  said the children apparently drowned in the river after being swept away by a strong current. The incident is under investigation.
