THE 4,200 employees of Panama’s judiciary will share a $1.2 million Christmas bonus approved by judges of the Supreme Court.

The stocking stuffer carries the signature of  all nine judges, and was posted in the Government Gazette.

According to the document, the $300 per person bonus will be distributed to all employees except the Supreme Court judges.

Last year, the court only gave a bonus to those making under $2,600 a month.

This year, that barrier was removed so that nearly all the employees would qualify.
