NICOLE PINTO, was chosen Miss America Latina del Mundo2014, at a ceremony on Sunday, September 7  in the Dominican Republic  town of Bavara in the east of the country. She succeeds the previous title holder Julia Guerra of Brazil..

The elections are held annually with the participation of of Latina women from across the world.

The Spanish representative Yanire Ortiz, born in Vélez Málaga (Málaga), was elected the first semifinalist of the tournament held at the Gran Teatro del Bavaro Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort .

The second finalist was Patricia Guerra, representative of Brazil, and  the third was Michelle Cohn, of Guatemala.

The elections are held annually with the participation of of Latina American  Beauty  ambassadors from across the continent.
