THE COPA Airlines fleet hit the century mark on Friday, November 20, when it’s latest acquisition arrived in Panama from Boeing headquarters in Seattle, Washington.
The Boeing 737-800, with a capacity of 162 passengers, landed in Panama at 4 p.m.
According to Copa official Ahmad Reza Zamany, the 737-800 is the aircraft which best fits the needs of the airline.
In April - during the Summit of the Americas in Panama – Copa and Boeing signed a $6.6 billion agreement for the purchase of 61 additional planes, which will be the new Boeing 737 MAX model.
