TWO  NATIONAL Police officers who were photographed in Panama asleep in their patrol car, are facing  disciplinary sanctions.

The picture went viral on the internet and  was picked up by local media and was quickly  became a theme for cartoonists  depicting "serve and protect" officers in pyjamas, one  clutching a stuffed doll.
