SOMEWHERE, between 10 and 20 kilometers along the Transístmica highway, there must be an area with at least 4 hectares and strategically located at the near the road.

That is the expectation that the Social Security Fund (CSS) has for the bidding for Panama Hospital North., The CSS has stipulated that for the contract the winning company acquires the "hypothetical" land before receiving the order to proceed. In addition to potential conflicts that an act like this could cause undoubtedly the evaluation process would be uneven, as each bidder may offer a different field.

Public opinion is overwhelmed with the hospital management of the CSS, an entity that is not able to provide supplies and medicines to their institutions , or to avoid the chaotic situation of hospitals like December 24.

In addition, it remains to define what will happen with the City Health. It is irrational to think about investing millions of dollars in the construction of another hospital, where an existing one is in deplorable condition.

So far, management has only sickened the CSS heritage, and has not cured its  patients.
