RESERVATIONS for the fourth Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre   are already rolling in according to the CanadaPLUS Club organizers, who have  a well-deserved reputation  for  successful  sold-out events,

I’m not surprised at the early response.  Dinner, coffee “chocolates”  plus a well performed play with audience participation for as low as $30 is something that ranks high on my list , and it’s all happening at the  Mirimar Intercontinental Hotel. Monday hrough Wednesday June-21-23.

Why are chocolates part of the mix? The answer is in the title “Dying for Chocolates” with the plot centered on a battle between a chocolate company with a secret ingredient and a competing carob entrepreneur. Love and jealousy are intertwined and if the ingredient happens to have fatal consequences, that’s when the mystery begins and the audience, gets into helping to figure out whodunit.

The play is directed by Allan Wilson a Panama TV actor, who studied his art in the United States, and in the Fall will be heading to Toronto, to study film, and while there will   reunite with Henk Van Der Kolk, co-founder of the Toronto International Film Festival, (TIFF) and Panama’s IFF.

The talented cast, includes some of the actors from previous performances, and some talented new faces. I visited a costume rehearsal this week, and got not only mystery, but lots of laughs.
