AUDITIONS  are under way for a  Theatre Guild of Ancon production of an original play, written and directed by the Simon Tejeira and Alfonso Grimaldo creative  duo, and produced by the equally talented Giancarlo Benedetti  - a creative partnership combination sure to  spark  fireworks

"There Are Such Things". is the teams  second original play following on  from last year’s wildly successful  "The Joke Bureau".

The  play is about a descent into madness.Jonathan Harker a  young, British lawyer travels to the Romanian region of Transylvania to attend to the business of a mysterious client. He is accompanied only by the imagined presence of his fiancé. As Harker discovers more about the eccentric nobleman, his grip on his moral and physical reality begins to weaken.

THE CAST
There Are Such Things is an original adaptation of the first section of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

The team is casting for:

Jonathan Harker (aged 18-35); Mina Harker (18-35) engaged. charming,  and deductively inclined; Dracula (30-70)  A mysterious nobleman. Proud and conniving; Shadows, Spirits of the dark. Physically agile ;  Brides, Slaves. Beasts. (18-35). Singing experience preferred.

The show dates are  October 12-30.

 Meanwhile there are a few reservations still available for the Tuesday July 12 and Wednesday, July 13 performances of Murder Spells Bingo, written by Robert Matton and directed by multi-talented  writer actor and film producer  Kendall McKella McDdray, at the Miramar Intercontinental Hotel. The audience is part of the show and gets to identify the killer.

A welcoming glass of wine and murder while you eat. $30 members, $40 nonmembers.
