BOOK REVIEW:  "Moneylove" more than  just dollars

By Linda Gonzalez

EXPAT Jerry Gillies has written a digital age updated version of his two million copy bestseller, Moneylove which earned the praise of Jack Canfield, co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, who said, “Jerry is one of the pioneers of prosperity thinking and he gives valuable information away free at www.MoneyloveBlog.com”

MoneyLove 3.0, is certainly a unique self-development book, and digital age sequel to his earlier work. . Currently it is being offered online in a PDF format.

Two things that makes it unusual are its division into 12 “Books” instead of chapters, and another is an Instruction Manual at the beginning, in allowing readers to decide in which order to read the books, depending on their individual needs or desires
There are also 22 motivational and inspiration contributors providing their own provocative and specific ideas on how to have a more prosperous life.

Gillies says he considers Moneylove 3.0, an encyclopedia of success strategies and new concepts that take his original prosperity principles into the digital era. In Book 8, titled Cyber Consciousness, he has interviewed several of the top young Internet entrepreneurs who reveal many of the secrets of their online success.
Prosperity is about much more than just money, says Gillies. it’s about “doing work you love, having great relationships, vitality and health, and a lot of creative energy, with money just being a happy side effect
For instance, he stresses the power of humor, in Book 10, called Laughing All The Way.  Not surprising when you know that the author is also a stand up comic and has played lead roles in the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre series organized by the  CanadaPLUS Club.

There is also one segment, Book 3, titled, The Law of Subtraction, which Gillies says was inspired by Sherlock Holmes, and deals with information overload.

One of many Time Awareness Exercises offered in Book 5, TimeLove is to explore putting two days into one 24 hour timeframe. He says he used this one to write the book in less than two months. This is a fascinating, often funny, surprising book overflowing with action steps to move people further along the path to prosperity and fulfillment.
