They came in their thousands to the National Handicraft Fair at the Atlapa Convention Center  from  July 28 to August 1 to see and buy the works of  Panamanian artisans from across the country.

Visitors were able to purchase everything from pottery to hand made, dresses, bags, carving, jewelery and more. There were over 500 stalls, and non-stop entertainment  by ethnic groups. If  attendance was reflected in sales, those who has spent so many hours producing their products would have had a worthwhile experience. If you missed out this year, mark it on your calendar for next. But a tip to the wise, go early. On the weekend you need a strong constitution to ease your way through the throng.
