Think Pink - The annual fund raiser for Casa de Mausi where you get to feast your eyes on a plethora of cakes and sweet goodies. If you are not following some fad diet it’s a great sweet tooth shopping opportunity. It’s also a special social event, you’ll be surprised at who you meet there. It’s all happening at Casa de Jamon, in Parque Industrial, Costa del Este. 10 am -5pm. A side trip into the Casa, will reward you with the discovery of lots of goodies for your larder that can’t be found elsewhere.
Rugby Breakfast - while watching the World Cup quarter final Ireland vs Argentina at (where else?) Panama’s famed Irish pub The Blarney Stone. The game at Twickenham, London, starts at 7am local time.

British Universities Fair- 15 prestigious higher education centers providing an opportunity for local students to examine the options of studying in universities that have produced some of the world’s greatest scientists, thinkers, and writers. You can also learn about a scholarship program for post graduate students. Admission is FREE, at the Sheraton Hotel, 11 am -7 pm
Canadian Election Fever – The three horse race comes to an end today as Canadians go to the polls, The outcome after the longest campaign in Canadian history is still uncertain, with the early NDP front runners now in third place according to the pollsters, and the Liberals led by Justin Trudeau heading the pack, which almost certainly means adios to current Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. Canadians who want to follow the results as they roll in starting at 7 pm local time will find Happy Hour extended through the evening at the Blarney Stone Irish Pub where they will be adding poutine to their extensive menu of pub food.

Carols at the Mall - Take a break from the “‘shop ‘till you drop-“ treadmill and drop into the Trypp Hotel lobby at The Albrook Mall, and listen to the Coro polifonico a Viva choir from Chiriqui before they head off to the Cinta Costera for their final rehearsal for tomorrow’s Carols by Candlelight concert.

CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT – The 5th annual Carols Concert organized by the CanadaPLUS Club in aid of local charities and institutions. Five outstanding choirs and an opportunity to raise your voice with the audience joining in after each presentation. The concert, which starts at 6.30 pm, is FREE and you can bring your own stool, or sit or stand on the perimeter walls, at Mirador Del Pacifico on the Cinta Costera, Reserved seats are available at $15, $20 and $25 Including a souvenir led candle.
