11 Panamanians leaving France

AT LEAST 11 Panamanians who are currently in France left the country  on the weekend  due to safety concerns, according to a Panama Foreign Ministry report.

Panama’s Ambassador to France Pila Arosemena, said that there are no reports of Panamanians being affected by the terrorist acts, although the ambassador expressed "concern and fear over the situation."

On Friday, the Panamanian Foreign Ministry activated the center of coordination of information (Cecodi) to assist Panamanians in France

Within the first 15 hours, according to the Presidency, the Cecodi received 98 calls and messages, mostly related to "concerns about the situation," as well as applications for assistance in contacting relatives who are in Paris.
